*09/16, Tuesday – Yesterday, Henry taught me what he got out of the Advanced Contemporary class he took on Sunday. At first I felt like it was so weird being all unstructured. I didn’t feel comfortable with it. But later on I realized the freeing sensation it gave me and I thought back to the times when I would listen to music and sort of choreograph contemporary style dancing in my head. I decided to dip my toes in lyrical contemporary dance classes by taking my first Broadway Dance Center class this coming Sunday. I finally found a beginner contemporary class! It’s so hard to find one that I could actually go to. Michelle Barber is teaching this particular class. I hope it goes well!
